Creating Landing Pages That Convert: Proving a Point

If you Google ‘I’m the best’ and ‘ESPN’ you will find plenty of articles of athletes all declaring that they are the best at what they do. Whether or not they are the best (at least in the eyes of the public) is another question. Public opinion and your own experience may determine how you perceive that athlete. If you and the public perceive that athlete as the best and they declare themselves the best then you will respect their skill. If not, you will probably laugh at their declaration (like if one of these guys called themselves the greatest of all time). The same concept applies to small businesses, their landing pages and their customers. Simply declaring that you are the best small business in your industry will not convince consumers to purchase your product or service. They are going to need proof that you are as good as you say you are and there is no better proof than positive reviews from your previous customers. Creating landing pages that convert can be difficult, that is why we have listed a few ways in which we can include that proof on your landing page and how it can help propel your business forward.

Creating Landing Pages that Convert in Two Steps

(1)    Testimonials Including positive reviews from a few of your previous customers and featuring them on your website should help persuade potential customers to buy your product or service. When we start creating landing pages for you, we can place these short quotes in an area on your landing page that is prominent enough to warrant the attention of your customer and will drive them to complete the form on that page. We can also link those testimonials to case studies if you think your customers need further convincing (say if you are a brand just starting out or if you just want to make sure all of your bases are covered). (2)    Show How Many People Have Interacted With Your Landing Page on Social Media People like investing their money in companies that are popular. Popularity implies that the company is reputable and safe so exhibiting your popularity can work wonders for your conversion rate. We can use social sharing buttons to show how many people have shared or liked your landing page on social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). Creating landing pages can give your site and business plenty of credibility which can mean higher traffic, conversion rates and profits if you play your cards right.
